Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This role
offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Speech-Language
Pathologist (SLP) to support K-8 students in a specialized
educational setting. The position is travel-based, located in
Chicago Heights, IL, providing in-person services for a Special
Education Co-op program focused on students with social and
emotional disabilities. This setting serves fully verbal and
independent students requiring individualized speech therapy. Key
Responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language therapy to
approximately 30 students, delivering about 120 minutes per month
or 30 minutes per week as specified in each student's IEP. Assess,
plan, and implement therapy programs tailored to each student's
communication needs. Collaborate with educators and support staff
to support comprehensive student development. Maintain accurate
records and documentation in accordance with program policies and
state regulations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to
Individualized Education Program (IEP) development. Qualifications
and Experience: Active Illinois SLP license required. Professional
Educator License (PEL) mandatory. Experience working with K-8
students, preferably in special education or social/emotional
disability settings. Strong interpersonal skills to engage
effectively with students, staff, and families. Commitment to
in-person service delivery and travel to the Chicago Heights area.
Work Details: Position duration: August 18, 2025, through June 2,
2026. 35 hours per week. In-person work only. Serving students with
special needs in a cooperative educational environment. This
position is ideal for a dedicated SLP seeking meaningful work with

communicative growth in a supportive setting. Qualified candidates
