our footprint within stadiums, arenas, convention centers, and
major event operations nationwide. HSS is currently seeking a
Business Development Manager (BDM) to support our national sales
team in our Stadium and Events expansion division . The Business
Development Manager is responsible for driving the company’s growth
by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within
stadiums, arenas, live events, festivals, convention centers, and
large-scale venues. This role focuses on building strategic
partnerships, expanding market presence, and securing staffing
contracts for high-volume, high-profile events. The BDM will work
closely with operations, recruiting, and leadership teams to
deliver customized staffing solutions that support event success
and client satisfaction. Duties and Responsibilities Market
Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research focused on
stadiums, arenas, convention centers, and major event venues to
identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats. Analyze
market data related to live events, seasonal demand, and
large-scale venue operations to develop informed strategies. Lead
Generation: Generate leads through cold calling, networking,
industry events, sports and entertainment conferences, and online
research. Identify and qualify stadium, event production companies,
venue management groups, promoters, and event organizers as
potential clients. Qualify leads to ensure alignment with HSS’s
stadium and events service capabilities and strategic objectives.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a business development plan
specific to stadiums and large-scale event staffing. Set clear
objectives, KPIs, and growth strategies to increase market share in
the stadium and events sector. Client and Partner Relationship
Management: Build and maintain relationships with key
decision-makers at stadiums, arenas, and event organizations.
Understand client needs including crowd size, event schedules,
staffing volumes, compliance, and operational timelines. Tailor
staffing solutions for high-volume, fast-paced, and time-sensitive
event environments. Sales and Negotiation: Lead sales efforts
including proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations for
stadium and event staffing contracts. Present HSS as a trusted
staffing partner capable of supporting large crowds, high-security
environments, and premium guest experiences. Collaborate with field
and operations teams to ensure a seamless transition from contract
award to event execution. Partnerships and Alliances: Identify and
negotiate partnerships with stadium operators, event management
firms, promoters, and venue groups. Develop strategic alliances
that increase HSS’s presence in national and regional stadium and
event markets. New Business Opportunities: Identify and evaluate
expansion opportunities within professional sports, collegiate
athletics, concerts, festivals, and large-scale special events.
Explore new service offerings that support stadium and event
operations such as concessions, guest services, security support,
and event logistics staffing. Reporting and Analysis: Provide
regular reporting to senior leadership on stadium and events
business development initiatives. Track sales performance, revenue
growth, and market penetration within the stadium and events
segment. Qualifications 3 years of outside sales focused business
development experience, preferably within hospitality, stadiums,
events, or large-scale venues. Proven success in business
development or sales with a history of meeting or exceeding revenue
targets. Strong understanding of the stadium, events, hospitality,
or live entertainment industries is a plus. Knowledge of market
research and sales strategy development. Excellent communication,
negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work
independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, growth-driven
environment. Experience using Salesforce, Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint. Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving
abilities. Willingness to travel to stadiums, events, and client
meetings nationwide up to 50% Compensation The pay range for this
position is $70,000 - $80,000. This range represents the minimum
and maximum pay that Hospitality Staffing Solutions reasonably and
in good faith believes it will pay for this role at the time of
posting. Additional Compensation This position may also be eligible
for: Commissions / Bonus eligible - Expenses covered for Work
