Generac Industrial Distributor for Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.
Identify, uncover, create and develop new and additional sales
opportunities for the engines and generators team. This will be
done by applying a systematic sales coverage and account
development strategy focused on cultivating the Wolter Group Brand
Identity. General Purpose: Increase profitability by successfully
developing sales opportunities with entirely new or existing
customers that are not receiving coverage consistent with their
potential in a defined geographic area. Role qualifications: High
sense of urgency regarding meeting performance goals and metrics.

self-fulfillment) Commit to a highly defined sense of loyalty and
purpose Administer company’s sales territory management & coverage
guidelines. Willing to participate with all opportunities to gain
product knowledge Understand the competition’s products strengths
and weaknesses Meet or exceed all company performance metrics and
goals Maintain communication with parts, sales, service, & field
service techs. Position responsibilities: Manage company sales
territory while providing complete coverage of assigned territory
and accounts in accordance with company guidelines. Develop solid
working relationships with other company personnel and all Wolter
Group divisions and departments. Cultivate and develop profitable
business relationships with customers. Promote any and all
opportunities for all products and services in the Wolter Group
portfolio. Work closely with inside support personnel from all
departments Be creative in understanding how to utilize the tools
and expertise of others to promote specific aspects of The Wolter
Group portfolio based on the opportunity at hand. Maintain all
customer information in company’s computer database; record all
sales calls and mileage information based on established company
procedures and timetables. Stay informed and trained on various
services and products provided by manufacturers we represent;
attend schools when available. Submit monthly forecasts and lost
order reports to field sales manager. Entertain customers as
appropriate outside of normal business hours. Attend trade shows or
related events as required. Assist however possible in resolving
Customer problems or complaints. Essential skills and experience:
Associate’s Degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent experience
in business to business sales, sales of
financial/investment/insurance products, larger ticket consumer
goods or motor vehicles. Demonstrated ability to develop solid
business relationships. Demonstrated tangible track record of
creating, maintaining and achieving long and short term personal as
well as professional goals. Clear, specific and defined long and
short term income goals. Ability to organize and manage multiple
priorities Ability to think ahead and plan over a one-year time
span Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication
skills Expert knowledge of general industrial equipment and
industry specific Strong computer proficiency Mechanical aptitude a
significant plus. Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
