Job Description - SUPERVISOR, TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS (DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND HIGHWAYS) (00136883)Job SummaryResponsible for advanced troubleshooting of technology and office equipment, repair work, equipment deployment, application support, and staff training. Receive and track internal Bureau/Department requests for software updates or technology troubleshooting and provide recommendations for solutions. Assist with leading and facilitating structure across all levels of the organization to deliver valued outcomes to drive business decisions. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and constraints. Oversee and manage Bureau/Department field systems staff. Ensure all system interfaces are operational for consistent reliable data transfer between multi-tiered platforms. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Assume primary responsibility for multiple projects as directed.Typical Job Duties

• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and constraints.
• Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation while conducting on-site diagnosis and repair of computers, laptops, monitors, and peripherals.
• Oversee and manage Bureau/Department field systems staff.
• Supervise projects to identify, analyze, and order replacement parts as needed.
• Train staff to diagnose, troubleshoot, and support related information software in the Bureau/Department.Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree.
• Four (4) years of experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Technology Management, or related fields.
• Two (2) years of prior supervisory or lead experience.
• An equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
• CompTIA A+ certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications.
