challenges. The Superintendent is responsible for managing the
workforces and constructing the project. Responsibilities include
sub contractor coordination, pre-construction coordination; client
relations; material ordering, inspections and coordination; layout
coordination; quality control inspections; chairing weekly progress
meetings; scheduling; change management, management of punch list
and close out.
Manage new building construction and remodel projects.
Engage sub-contractors in pre-installation meetings, constant
quality reviews, understand and exceed client expectations, aim for
zero punch list.
Read and interpret project drawing and specifications.
Work with Project Manager to develop project scope, schedule and
Identify opportunities for value engineering.
Set up and maintain an organized and professional job site
Maintain project files, prepare daily activity reports, and take
Identify critical path issues and address them in timely manner to
keep project on schedule.
Prepare Look Ahead Schedules, identify efficient means and methods,
pro-actively schedule work, and coordinate sub-contractors. Chair
weekly sub-contractor coordination meetings.
Plan and maintain job site logistics, security, and safety.
Manage and coordinate deliveries, subcontractors, inspections, and
team members to meet the project schedule.
Coordinate work with project stake holders, owner representatives,
and owner operations teams, in an effort to minimize operational
Oversee and verify layouts and MEP coordination.
Enforce job site safety.
Create quality control and safety inspection check lists.
Maintain workforce badging system.
Support project manager in preparation of change order
Maintain positive relationships with owners and subcontractors.
Maintain punch lists, ensure corrective actions and work toward
10 years related experience in construction management, general
contracting, project management, carpentry, or related
Dependable, self-starter that is adaptable to a changing
Experience in all phases of building construction: commercial,
municipal, healthcare, retail, tenant build-outs, and school
Experience managing day-to-day construction activities, managing

Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve project issues. .
Experience in performing quality control and safety
Ability to use a computer, the Internet, and email. Proficient in
Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
Ability to work safely in a construction environment.
