THE POSITION
For our office in Milan and our production sites in Fornovo San Giovanni and Noventa Padovana we are currently looking for a Senior Operational Sourcing Specialist to join us, based in Milan.
The Buyer Specialist will work within the Purchasing department reporting to the Common & Indirect Sourcing Area Head. He/she will be responsible for sourcing goods and services for the company at the best value regarding quality and price.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Sourcing and contracting of services such as Creative Agencies, Medical Education, Publication Planning, Media, Public Relations
• Scouting and evaluating suppliers;
• Negotiating purchase terms;
• Implementing global sourcing strategies;
• Building relationship with business partner;
• Data analysis and baseline consolidation;
• Complying with department procedures and realizing department goals;
• Maintaining complete updated purchasing records;
• Ensure that the services meet the technical requirements and business needs.Requirements:
  • Degree in Economics, Engineering, or related fields
  • Minimum three years of Procurement or Sourcing experience -
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good knowledge of English language
  • Good knowledge of SAP and Ariba/WeBuy as a plusCore competencies:
    • Communication skills to build partnerships effectively with internal and external stakeholders and convey information so it is received and understood; building natural relationships with the ability to form sustainable connections across the entire organisation.
    • Financial & Analytical skills to being able to collect and analyze data to support decision-making processes
