Personal Care Temporary Formulation Technician needed--full timeLocation: Bedford Park Idea Lab, Bedford Park, ILPrimary Functions:--- The formulation technician will be responsible for Personal Care formulations (skin, hair, or color care), prototype development, claims and application studies to support various customer and business initiatives.--- This technician will be responsible for developing, technically evaluating and stability testing their formulations.Responsibilities:--- Provide direct support to personal care lab through basic formulations utilizing our ingredients.--- Provide written results documentation upon completion of project research and to present these results.--- Work independently or as part of a project team in exploring product application concepts and claims.--- Organize, maintain and record laboratory activities in E-notebook and create presentations.Qualifications:1. Bachelor of Science degree (cosmetic, chemistry, biological sciences or chemical engineering, preferred).2. 1 - 3 years of personal care formulation experience, preferably with skin, hair or color care experience.3. This individual must be collaborative, well organized, detail oriented, and multi-tasked oriented.
