• The A.D.O.N. assists the D.O.N. in organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting, inventory control, and management of the facility, people, supplies and equipment in such a way that meaningful clinical services are established to render the optimum level of resident care.
• This individual is expected to develop and encourage a teamwork approach within the facility and corporate structure as it pertains to clinical issues.
• The A.D.O.N. is held accountable for assuring effective management of the various nursing programs as designated by the D.O.N., i.e. Restraint Reduction Programs, Psychotropics Reduction Program, Infection Control Program, Orientation Program and Nursing Inservice Education.Qualifications:
  • Experienced Registered Nurse
  • Knowledge and understanding of geriatric residents
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Illinois RN license.
  • Previous management/ supervisory experience.
  • Excellent clinical skills
  • Restorative Nursing preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook software.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to use initiative, judgment and resourcefulness, and to make decisions
