Job Description Job Description ASSEMBLY OPERATOR B Reporting
to: Assembly Lead Salary: $18-21 per hour Position Description: The
Assembly Operator B will be tasked with assembling machinery. The
Assembly Operator B will apply knowledge of electrical theory and
procedures, shop mathematics, wiring diagrams, materials, and
layout techniques in assembling machines. Key Performance Outcomes:
Refer to union contract. Key Responsibilities: - Clean equipment -
Material Handler breaking down equipment after testing. - Use hand
tools. - Able to follow job pick list. - Use micrometers, calipers,
ruler and other measuring instruments. - Set-up jobs and choose
proper tools for the application. - Training to read wiring
diagrams. - Able to test equipment – using Hi Pod tester. -
Multitask and flexibility from one job to another. - Ability to
build machines to electrical specifications. - Adhere to all safety
procedures and instructions. Assembly Operator Qualifications:
Education/Certification: - High School Diploma, Minimum 18 years of
age. Required Knowledge: - High School level reading and writing in
the English language. High school level math. - Wiring Diagrams and
electrical experience Experience Required: - Manufacturing Plant
experience preferred. Skills/Abilities: - standard computer skills,
including Microsoft Office. Experience with ERP systems (INFOR) is
preferred. Job Expectations: Ability to operate normal and
customary equipment/technology used in a business environment, with
or without accommodation. While performing the duties of this job,
the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers; reach
with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The position requires the
ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
