Because we are a leader in the direct mail space, investing in technology and resources to facilitate innovative ideas, and we’re looking to add a Baler to our 3 rd shift team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for running a baler machine that compresses and binds cardboard. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and a reliable individual that is able to work at a steady pace to meet the schedule of production. Run baler machine to compress and bind cardboard Maintain the work area, keep equipment in a clean and orderly condition, and follow prescribed safety regulations. Break down cardboard for recycling. Open chamber doors and remove bales. Set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment per the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment. Collect cardboard/ empty boxes from production floor Maintain production floor clean and free or debris. All other duties assigned by shift supervisor or leads. Qualifications Required to stand for long periods of time. May involve some repetitive motions - bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and part containers. Must be able to frequently lift 50 lbs. Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity, and cold. Must have ability to read and write instructions. Overtime is required based on business needs and may become mandatory and weekends could be necessary.
