Job Description Job Description Job Title: Quality Control Technician Job Description Join our production line team as a Quality Control Technician, where you will perform essential quality control checks. Your role will include conducting basic tests on products such as salt, acid, viscosity, and moisture, ensuring the highest standards are met. You will be responsible for checking Critical Control Points using tools like metal detectors and x-ray machines, conducting pre-operation inspections, and performing microbiological and allergen swabbing. Responsibilities Conduct quality control checks on the production line. Perform basic testing of products including salt, acid, viscosity, and moisture. Monitor Critical Control Points using metal detectors and x-ray machines. Carry out pre-operation inspections. Execute microbiological and allergen swabbing. Essential Skills Experience in manufacturing and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Background in quality assurance or quality control. Knowledge of HACCP and PCQI. Additional Skills & Qualifications Some college education is a plus but not mandatory. PCQI/HACCP certifications are advantageous but not required. Consideration for new graduates and candidates from manufacturing environments. Work Environment You will work on the 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 1 AM, Monday through Thursday, with initial training on the 1st shift starting between 6 AM and 8 AM. Expect to work 40 hours a week with flexibility required for overtime when production increases. You will oversee 1-2 production lines at a time, managing up to 10 samples per hour. The position includes a rotating Friday schedule, working 1-2 Fridays a month. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
