Job Description Job Description Insurance Defense Attorney - First Party Property Insurance Defense Attorney - First Party Property Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney with a strong background in First Party Property litigation to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in managing a varied caseload, developing effective litigation strategies, and representing clients in complex first-party property disputes. This role offers the opportunity to handle meaningful trial work and contribute to a high-performing legal practice focused on exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities Represent clients in first-party property insurance claims and litigation Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and development Draft, review, and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents Manage all stages of litigation from case intake through trial Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial proceedings Negotiate settlements and provide strategic legal guidance to clients Collaborate with insurance carriers, adjusters, experts, and internal team members Qualifications Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction 5 years of experience in insurance defense with a focus on first-party property matters Strong knowledge of insurance law, property claims, and related regulations Proven litigation and trial experience, including motion practice and courtroom advocacy Proficiency with legal research platforms and case management systems Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
