Plaintiff's Employment Litigation Attorney Lombard office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a plaintiff's employment litigation attorney with 3-7 years of experience in employment law and 3+ years of experience in wage and hour claims. The candidate will shape employment litigation strategy. Will handle all aspects of litigation and pre-litigation employment matters. Issue and respond to discovery requests. Draft motions and notices to be filed. Prepare for and conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials. Compile, review, and analyze documents as required specific to case issues and determine necessary information. Perform research (factual, legal, Internet, and other) to identify issues and relevant matters. Prepare compilation of findings. Prepare court filings including, cite and fact-checking legal briefs and assembling exhibits and appendices. Communicate, correspond, and interact with clients and outside entities, such as, government entities, expert witnesses, vendors, corporations, and other law firms to gather information or data. Serve as a factual resource on cases and demonstrate knowledge of case documents. Should preferably have additional experience in plaintiff's personal injury litigation. Should preferably also have extensive experience with wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage/hour cases. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the litigation process and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. The candidate must have a J.D. degree and excellent academic credentials. Very strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate to attorneys and staff are required. Must be flexible in order to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities. Strong research, writing, management of caseload, organization, communication, and analytical skills are essential. Your information will not be forwarded to any employers at this time.
