Registered Nurse (RN) | Geriatrics / Skilled Nursing Facility Location: Janesville, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,150 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Skilled Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current WI RN license Certifications: Current CPR certification Must-Have: Ability to float to other inpatient units or facilities Description: We are seeking an experienced RN for our Skilled Nursing units. The candidate must have a current WI RN license and CPR certification. The RN may be asked to float to other inpatient units or facilities due to patient census. Scheduling will rotate between weekday and weekend shifts. The position entails day shift hours from 0630 to 1900. Essential duties and responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. The RN will administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, and standards of care. Documentation must adhere to standards of care. The RN will develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care based on the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by the physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction. Participation in department or unit performance improvement activities is required, which may include shared governance. The RN will utilize clinical expertise and guidance to support the patient’s longitudinal plan of care across other units or departments. Critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience is essential, and appropriate escalation to the chain of command is expected. Holiday coverage is required.
