Job Description Job Description Job Title: Food Services Worker Job Description Join our team as a Food Services Worker, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive nutritious meals and excellent service. This position involves washing dishes, delivering trays to patients, collecting trays after meals, prepping food, and reading meal tickets to make trays for patients. Responsibilities Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area. Deliver meal trays to patients and collect trays after meals. Prepare food according to dietary specifications. Read and interpret meal tickets accurately to assemble meal trays. Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff. Essential Skills Customer service focus and excellent communication skills. Attention to detail, especially in maintaining cleanliness. Ability to read and understand meal tickets. Additional Skills & Qualifications Good work history with at least 1 year at most jobs is a plus. Entry-level candidates with a positive attitude and customer service focus are welcome. Work Environment This role is within a hospital food service setting where you'll report to a Food Service Manager. You'll need to be open to working either day shifts (5:30 am - 2 pm) or PM shifts (10:30 am - 7:30 pm), including a rotating weekend schedule. Overtime is available but not mandatory. Opportunities are available at two locations: Kenosha and Pleasant Prairie. The dress code includes scrubs, hair nets, beard nets, with tattoos needing to be covered. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pleasant Prairie, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
