Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Internal Medicine - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Position Title: RN – Internal Medicine Department: 7NT Internal Medicine Location: 9200 West Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53226 Skills & Experience: Required: - Clinical competence in caring for acute care patients - Knowledge of nursing theory and practice, typically acquired via an accredited School of Nursing Preferred: - None specified Education: Required: - Associate’s degree in Nursing Preferred: - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) Licenses & Certifications: Required: - Wisconsin RN License or Multi-State NLC License - AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) or AHA-approved equivalent Contract & Schedule Information: - Start Date: July 7, 2025 - End Date: October 3, 2025 - Contract Type: Travel - Shift: 3rd shift (Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) - Hours: 36 hours/week | 12 hours/day | 3 days/week - Schedule Notes: - This is for a new 11-bed Med Surg Tele unit - Requires Med Surg/Tele experience - Must be available to float as needed - Every other weekend required - No on-call required - Color Vision and Fit Test required - Scrubs: Navy blue bottoms, any top Job Summary:/nThe Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a designated group of adult patients in an inpatient setting.
