About the role: The Manager, Benefits Administration will manage a team of three (3) Benefits Analysts in the delivery and implementation of the Company's health and welfare benefits nationwide. This position is responsible for ensuring benefit plans are consistently administered and in compliance with company policies and government regulations. Additionally, this position will manage complex projects, acquisition work, labor activities, and vendor management.Responsibilities:

  • Ensure online enrollment and eligibility through the benefits administration platform (Bswift)
  • Generate census and budget tool changes/updates and distribute to benefits broker/ actuary (Mercer)
  • Initiate, create and communicate benefits information using various medias and formats throughout the year
  • Ensure the completion of all compliance related projects including but not limited to Plan Document and Summary Plan Description updates
  • Review Collective Bargaining Agreements, provide suggested contract language, changes to plan design, and cost-share modeling
  • Drive the open enrollment campaign including but not limited to leading project calls, monitoring/reviewing internal project plan, reviewing plan documents incorporating changes, preparing/reviewing presentations for all employees
  • Manage team's performance, meeting with each team member weekly on escalated employee/vendor issues, status of projects, employees' individual yearly goals and objectives, performance feedback, development, etc.
  • Manage the daily operational and administrative tasks associated with the Transdev Benefits programs and designs
  • Other duties as requiredQualifications:Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • CEBS certification, preferred
    • Minimum of five years' benefits experience
    • Minimum of 3 years' management experience
    • Advanced background in benefits including strategy, administration, outsourcing, compliance, and financial cost-modeling
    • Experience in an outsourced health and welfare administration environment, required
    • Experience in a union environment, preferred
    • Knowledge of Bswift preferred
