Job Title: Accounts Payable ManagerThe RoomPlace, a 110-year-old family-owned company with 27 stores across Illinois, Indiana, California, and Wisconsin, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our team at our Lombard, IL location. As an Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable function and ensuring that all of the company's bills and invoices are paid accurately and on time.Responsibilities:Manage a team of accounts payable specialists and provide guidance and supportReview and approve invoices, purchase orders, and expense reportsEnsure that all invoices are processed accurately and in a timely mannerMaintain accurate records and files of all accounts payable transactionsDevelop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policiesAnalyze accounts payable data and provide insights to management for decision-making purposesPrepare and present accounts payable reports to senior managementOversee and Microsoft Dynamics AP ModuleRequirements:5-8 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 2 years in a management roleStrong understanding of accounting principles and practicesExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExperience with and Microsoft Dynamics, is preferredIf you are an experienced Accounts Payable Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a company that has a legacy of 110 years, we encourage you to apply for this position.
