The Warehouse & Dispatch Manager ensures the smooth operations of construction scheduling, dispatch and inventory teams to enable our get it right the first-time philosophy. The manager should have the ability to drive process improvements through a fast-growing team to meet the challenges of a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have worked in field service, construction, HVAC, or related fields and bring proven management skills. Warehouse management experience a plus What You---ll Do Forecast personnel requirements in close partnership with Sales and Installation. Maintain sharp awareness and oversight of all assigned areas and resolve issues timely and effectively. Manage and oversee the Construction Scheduling (Dispatch) teams and our Just In Time inventory process. Ensure construction teams have the necessary supplies, equipment, and other resources to complete jobs accurately and on time, the first time. Mentor, train, and develop team leaders and indirect reports. Manage inventory and purchasing processes. Additional duties as assigned. Requirements What You---ll Bring 5 years of management experience in FSM, dispatch, or construction scheduling. 3 years of people management experience. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously. Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, other employees. Proven ability to quickly adapt and drive the right results using data. Highest levels of integrity and ethics. Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those an individual must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to sit for extended periods of time while working on a personal computer and to move intermittently throughout the workday. Strong sensory skills, such as good eyesight, good hearing, and dexterity required. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance. Ability to walk, stand, and bend for long periods of time. Ability to use your hands to perform activities involving holding, grasping, turning, and pulling.
