Auto Driveaway and its affiliate is a leading national provider of professional vehicle relocation services. Auto Driveaway primarily serves large corporate fleets, fleet management companies, upfitters, dealerships and vehicle OEMs with fast, safe and reliable door-to-door driveaway service nationwide. Services include fleet shipping and fleet management services; single vehicle door-to-door driveaway shipping; expedited shipping; enclosed carrier shipping for high-value vehicles; international (overseas) shipping; short-term and long-term vehicle storage; licensing, titling and registration of vehicles; and vehicle maintenance and reconditioning services. J&J Driveaway primarily serves truck OEMs, dealerships and truck fleets, providing the transportation of medium and heavy duty assets and specialized equipment moved as single units or decked up to four at a time. Moving tens of thousands of assets per year, from cars to class 8 trucks to specialized equipment, we cover a lot of mileage. Role and Responsibilities --- Lead all aspect of the organization's safety and compliance program, including inspections and audits--- Own and continually refine the organizational safety and compliance policies to ensure they are up to date with legal and regulatory changes and relevant to business operations--- Develop a safety and compliance training regimen for employees and drivers--- Conduct safety and compliance trainings, investigations and audits as directed--- Serve as the subject matter expert for Federal, State and local transportation laws, regulations and restrictions applicable to all aspects of the driveaway industry--- Establish reporting and analytics metrics to, among other things, identify and address trends, opportunities and gaps in overall safety and compliance program--- Refine organization's accident reporting and investigation procedures, serving as key liaison throughout the claims process when needed--- Collaborate with Driver Recruitment team on driver qualifications, onboarding processes and trainings--- Build out processes to ensure that all active drivers are compliant and enforce corporate directives to prohibit non-compliant drivers from being dispatched--- Ensure that organization implements safety best practices, permeating all aspects of corporate culture Qualifications and Education Requirements --- College degree required or 5 years of CMV enforcement experience--- 5+ years in the motor fleet safety field, with proven mastery of the driveaway/transportation industry--- Demonstrated ability establishing programs and policies, including setting corporate standards, developing materials and leading the achievement of specific and measurable goals and objectives--- Strong background in transportation, logistics or related fields--- Knowledge of Federal, State and local transportation regulations and compliance requirements--- Exceptional organizational and communication skills--- Meticulous attention to detail--- Passionate about safety and customer experience--- Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel--- Project planning and project management skills--- Data analysis and/or report building experience--- Ability to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment, recognizing a sense of urgency and drive to achieve results PI131711750
