About the Role The Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing supports the organization's strategic sourcing and supply chain functions in close partnership with Vixxo's Operations and Account Management teams to deliver innovative service approaches to our geographically dispersed customers. Build and leverage relationships with equipment manufacturers and key trade service providers, such as food service beverage (FSB), HVAC/R and electrical for our national facilities management contracts. The role must be able to provide thought leadership and communicate our recommendations in a manner that instills confidence and can influence decision making.

• Create and manage for complex sourcing strategies and manage Service Provider negotiations that will improve quality of services and customer costs while meeting Vixxo gross margin goals. Utilize industry best practices to create strategic initiatives that distinguishes us from the competition.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key manufacturers and parts suppliers to provide high quality, cost effective solutions in order to maximize service levels and performance in local markets throughout the US and Canada.
• Partner with the Vixxo Service Provider Management team to proactively review coverage gaps that impact our ability to deliver initiatives.
• Build Service Provider relationships and manage quarterly and annual business reviews. Prepare strategy briefs, RFP's and spend analysis work and facilitate service provider negotiations. Maintain contracts and agreements.
• Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward stated goals and objectives. Analyze category spend and develop strategies: Obtain spend data and analyze for savings opportunities; Develop category sourcing strategies; Monitor external supply market benchmarks, trends and rates. About You
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management
  • At least 10years of experience in sourcing, vendor management and contract negotiation
  • Experience specific to trade sourcing a plus
  • Facility maintenance or experience with industries such as grocery, restaurant and big box retail a plus
  • Proven experience with complex supplier partnerships
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Forecasting relative to what we need based on current customer base; as well as forecasting for expanded opportunities with the client such as client acquisitions and mergers
  • Ability to research and provide data analysis related to cost structures and pricing
  • Strong financial, analytical and business acumen
  • Proven ability to manage budget and control expenses Other Skills and Abilities
