Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
school-based Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available
in the Elgin, IL area with a focus on working primarily with
elementary students. This position offers flexibility with
scheduling aligned to school hours and the ability to build
meaningful connections with students in both general education and
special education settings, including those with Autism Spectrum
Disorder (ASD). New graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship
Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply as supervision is provided. Key
Responsibilities: Provide speech and language services to a
caseload of up to 35-40 elementary students Deliver tailored
therapy services in general education and special education
classrooms Collaborate with educators and support staff to meet
individual student needs Participate in orientation and ongoing
professional development Maintain accurate documentation of student
progress in compliance with school policies Qualifications and
Desired Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in
Speech-Language Pathology preferred but new graduates in their CFY
considered Experience working with children in school settings,
particularly elementary age students Comfort and skill in
supporting students with ASD and diverse communication needs
Ability to work independently while adhering to school policies and
procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills Position
Details: Location: Elgin, IL Employment Type: Full-time, W-2
Employee, School Year Contract (37.5 hours per week) Start Date:
