Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This opportunity seeks a dedicated Special Education
Teacher to support K-5 students at an elementary school in
Arlington Heights, IL. This contract role offers a full-time
schedule of 37.5 hours per week for the current school year (CSY),
providing meaningful engagement with a diverse caseload that
includes students with ASD, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities,
and more. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction
within a push-in model to 20-40 students across kindergarten
through 5th grade. Develop and implement individualized education
plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, therapists, and other
staff to promote inclusive learning environments. Monitor student
progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Maintain
compliance with all special education regulations and standards.
Qualifications: Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
with Special Education certification. Experience working with
students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), cerebral palsy, and
learning disabilities. Strong knowledge of best practices in
special education instruction and inclusive teaching models.
Ability to manage a varied caseload, prioritizing student needs
effectively. Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.00 to $65.00.
