Full Time - Day Shift - 8a-4:30p
High School Diploma. 2 years of experience in customer service or
health care required. Experience handling difficult

If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the
following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting
requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when
patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling
equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other
associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement
situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
The purpose of this position is to help achieve the vision of
Advocate Home Health/Hospice services by performing a variety of
general office duties. This position is a critical component of the
Hospice team and the goal is to ensure the provision of efficient,
effective, quality customer services and office support:
responsible for receptionist/secretarial duties, and triage of

a polite, prompt and helpful manner. Provides any necessary
directions/instructions or other assistance as needed.
Performs clerical duties (copies, faxes, filing) in order to
support the Regional Business Services manager and the Central
Hospice Office staff.
