Billing and Reporting Specialist (New Account Review, Reconciliation and Billing)

Forum Financial Management, LP is a rapidly growing Registered Investment Advisory firm (RIA) in search of a candidate to join our Backoffice team. -This individual would be responsible for overseeing the daily and quarterly activities needed to run our RIA. Experience working in a Securities Brokerage or Advisory Firm is a plus but not required. -Primary responsibilities include working with operations personnel in providing accurate performance reporting of clients' portfolios. There will be direct interface with customer service team, principals of the firm, and our primary vendors. -This individual will be responsible for:Job Responsibilities & Activities:

  • Interface with Client Service Team to set up new clients and service existing clients' needs
  • Accurately set up new accounts in the reporting and billing software
  • Responsible for creating and running reports -
  • Share responsibility for executing daily reconciliation and auditing of data entry and client account setup to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor incoming paperwork for compliance with policies and procedures
  • Answer inquiries from advisors and principals of the firm
  • Interface with key software providers to maintain and update reporting capabilities
  • Create & monitor audits of systems to ensure accurate data for client performance reporting
  • Quarterly report generation and fee reconciliation
  • Proactively improve the firm by leading projects to improve processes and technology utilization -The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
    • Solid team player
    • High attention to detail
    • Organized and process oriented
    • Analytical with strong quantitative problem-solving skills
    • Strong computer skills, particularly Excel
    • Bachelor's degree, with proven success -Candidate Experience:
      • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or equivalent experience on a Backoffice team for an RIA or Broker Dealer
      • Knowledge of Schwab, TD Ameritrade, and/or Fidelity a plus
      • Knowledge of Orion Advisor and Tamarac reporting and billing software a plus -Why work for Forum Financial Management?
